Early voting days are upon us...

35 states (including the District of Columbia) allow early voting.
30.3% of voters nationwide voted early in 2008 and 26 million absentee ballots were sent out by states.
There was a 10% increase in early voting from 2006 to 2008.
...And an estimated 2,214,807 people have already voted in this election as of October 18, according to Michael McDonald of the United States Election Project at George Mason University.

For the third time in a row, Romney has won the coin toss to get the first question in tonight's debate. The odds of winning all three coin tosses: 12.5%.

Romney also won a separate coin toss for the closing statements, meaning he'll get to speak last.

Florida is a swing state with 29 electoral votes. Not surprisingly, the campaigns have spent a lot of ad money in the state:

Obama has spent $49.19 million in ads in the Sunshine State as of Oct 14. Nineteen percent of those ads were positive and 81% were negative. Romney has spent $27.48 million on ads in Florida. Of those ads, 20% were positive and 80% were negative.

President Obama and GOP nominee Mitt Romney have seen a lot of the Sunshine State this campaign season. Obama has held 15 events in Florida most recently visiting Miami on Oct. 11. Romney, on the other hand, has held 43 events most recently campaigning in Palm Beach on Saturday.
