One of the coolest parts of tonight's election coverage? When CNN takes over the Empire State Building for election night results.

As CNN projects winners in each state, the iconic beacon of Gotham will be exclusively displaying the race to 270 electoral votes with a vertical LED illuminated “meter” on its spire—blue for President Obama, and red for former Governor Romney.

Dropping by Landmark Restaurant in Cleveland Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden gave a preview of his future plans. Asked by a fellow diner whether he was going to run in another election, Biden said, "Oh, I’m going to go back home and run for county council."

As for sharing the Cleveland tarmac with both Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, Biden said he didn't know in advance they were going to be there.

"When we landed they said they were there," the VP said.

Election Day lunch for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan was at an Ohio Wendy's, a restaurant the GOP nominee has stopped at before on the campaign trail.

His order: Quarter pounder no cheese, Chili and a baked potato.

Ryan's order: A burger with cheese and a side salad.

Why Wendy's?

Romney said they stopped because the fast food chain started in Ohio.

On Tuesday, a judge in Philadelphia ordered election officials to cover a mural of Obama at one city school that was being used as a polling locations after Republicans complained the painting violated electioneering laws.

That's just one of the stories CNN's Votewatch team is monitoring as Americans cast ballots across the country.

Obama deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter defended her team’s decision not to put President Obama on the campaign trail Tuesday, saying campaign events take staff members away from get-out-the-vote efforts. Instead, Cutter said, it was more “efficient” to keep the president’s schedule light.

Further asked by CNN’s Erin Burnett if she thinks Romney can carry Pennsylvania, Cutter said, “No, he’s not going to swing the state.”

“The state has tightened, but we are confident we’re going to win it,” Cutter continued, touting the president’s support in the Philadelphia suburbs.
