According to CNN’s #tweetoftheunion, Republican lawmakers are tweeting noticeably more than Democrats.
At the time of publishing, Republican members of Congress have tweeted 1223 times, compared to only 895 by Democrats.
As one would expect, the top State of the Union tweeps (people who use Twitter) are less experienced members of Congress – those who have been in office from one to three years.
