David Koch, a funder of the group Americans for Prosperity, said in a rare media availability on Thursday that his vilification by the left is "vastly inaccurate in my opinion."

"I try to do things in life that make the world a better place. I'm very philanthropic, I'm a major contributor to cancer research, medical research. I'm a big supporter of cultural institutions of educational institutions and the smallest area of my activity is public policy institutions," he continued, CNN's Shannon Travis reports.
